Mario McDonald

Hi, I’m Mario McDonald, the founder of Train to Move. I’m a former NCAA All-American swimmer and passionate movement coach with a Master’s degree in Kinesiology from The Ohio State University.

After years of competing, coaching, and studying human performance, I created Train to Move to help people cut through the noise and train with real purpose. Whether you're just starting out or looking to get back on track, I meet you where you are—with customized programming, expert guidance, and no fluff.

I’ve coached athletes, general fitness clients, and complete beginners. What they all had in common? A desire to move better, feel stronger, and stay consistent—without guesswork or gimmicks.
